(Aurora, Ind.) – Two local fire departments lent a helping hand at South Dearborn High School this week.
With high heat, dry conditions, and a broken water wheel, the school corporation’s soccer field was in dire need of water.
Hogan Township and Aurora Fire dropped 20,000 gallons of water on the pitch.
Despite extreme heat, the athletic department expects the grass to be green and ready for the coming weeks.
