Aurora Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

This accident happened on Friday, June 26.

(Moores Hill, Ind.) - An Aurora man is dead after colliding with another vehicle head on. 

On Friday, June 26, around 8:17 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Mount Sinai Road for a crash involving a motorcycle. 

During an investigation is was learned that Thomas Burns, 21, of Aurora was operating a 1995 Harley Davidson traveling westbound behind another vehicle on Mt. Sinai Road. When Burns attempted to pass the vehicle in front of him, he collided head on with a 2001 Jeep. 

Burns was taken to University of Cincinnati Hospital via University Of Cincinnati Air Care. It was learned that Burns was ultimately killed by the injuries sustained in the crash on Sunday, June 28. 

The Dearborn County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Aurora EMS, Moores Hill EMS, and Hogan Township Fire Department at the scene of the accident.
