Batesville Fire Names New Fire Chief

(Batesville, Ind.) - Batesville Fire and Rescue has named a new Fire Chief. 

Brian Hardebeck takes over the position after serving Batesville Fire and Rescue for the last 20 years. During that time, he has held numerous positions including Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Fire Chief.

Hardebeck replaces Chief Todd Schutte following his retirement. 

Schutte devoted over 30 years of selfless service, with 23 of those years as Fire Chief.
