Batesville March Band Qualifies for State Competition for First Time

The ISSMA Scholastic B State Finals take place Saturday, October 19 at Franklin Central High School.

(Batesville, Ind.) – The Batesville High School Marching Band has made history.

For the first time in school history, the marching band has qualified for the ISSMA Scholastic B State Finals.

Batesville is among 16 schools that will compete in the Scholastic B category. Other schools qualifying include Bluffton, Brown County, Corydon Central, Eastern (Greentown), Eastern (Pekin), Henryville, Heritage Hill, North Harrison, Northeast Dubois, Norwell, Pike Central, Evansville Reitz, Salem, Shawe Memorial, Wawasee.

The ISSMA Scholastic B State Finals take place Saturday, October 19 at Franklin Central High School.

Start time is 1:00 p.m.
