(Batesville, Ind.) - On Sunday, November 24, 2024, the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) recognized Justin Tucker, Associate Principal at Batesville Middle School as the 2024 State Assistant Principal of the Year. He was also named District Assistant Principal of District 10.
District 10 is in southeast Indiana and is made up of Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Franklin, Hancock, Jennings, Ripley, Rush, Shelby and Union Counties.
The recognition ceremony is a part of the 2024 Assistant Principals of the Year Recognition Celebration, a part of IASP’s annual Fall Professional’s Conference hosted by Executive Director, Dr. Todd Bess and IASP President, Dr. Holly Arnold presiding.
District Assistant Principals of the Year are elected by their peers. One principal is honored from each of the 12 districts. From these 12 Districts, Assistant Principal winner, Justin Tucker, was recognized as the 2024 State Assistant Principal of the Year at the banquet.
Additionally, Batesville Intermediate School Principal Mrs. Dana Cassidy was honored as the IASP District 10 Elementary Principal of the Year at tonight's banquet.
