Batesville HS is among three finalists for the large Indiana Department of Education grant.
(Batesville, Ind.) – Batesville High School has been named a state finalist for a large Indiana Department of Education grant.
The school corporation needs the help of area citizens in order to secure the $500,000 grant.
According to Batesville Community School Corporation superintendent Paul Ketcham, only votes cast today between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. will count.
The school that receives the most votes in the 12-hour span will have a $250,000 grant doubled to $500,000. The Linton-Stockton School Corporation and Purdue Polytechnic High School are the other finalists for the award.
