Bright Community Festival Takes Place July 27-28

Come out and help raises funds for Bright’s Fire Department and EMS.

(Bright, Ind.) - Visitors in search of festival fun will find it next week at the Bright Community Festival, an annual event supporting Bright’s Fire Department and EMS. The festival will kick off Friday night, July 27 and continue through late Saturday, July 28.

WHAT: Bright Community Festival

WHEN: Fri., July 27 – Sat., July 28

TIME: Fri., 6-11pm and Sat., 4-11pm (parade starting at 3)

WHERE: Bright Firehouse, 23759 Brightwood Dr., Bright, Ind.

COST: Free admission

Known for its great raffles, the Bright Festival also offers craft and food booths in addition to a variety of traditional festival activities for the entire family.

Throughout the event, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, carnival rides and games, a beer garden, gaming and more. The annual parade will take place on Saturday at 3pm, followed by a chicken dinner in the firehouse at 4pm.

Held in conjunction with the festival, the annual Bright Car Show has been scheduled for Saturday at the Dearborn Hills United Methodist Church at the intersection of North Dearborn and Stateline roads. Registration will take place from 9-11am, followed by awards at 1pm. The Top 10 cars will also be entered into the Bright Parade.
