AUDIO: Meet "The Turtleman" See "Shenandoah Squatch" at Buckeye Bigfoot Bash

(North Bend, Oh.) - You will not want to miss a chance to meet “The Turtleman” this weekend in North Bend, Ohio.

Ernie Brown, Jr., also known as “The Turtleman”, will be at the Buckeye Trading Post for the inaugural Buckeye Bigfoot Bash on Saturday, September 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Brown, the star of the former Animal Planet series “Call of the Wildman” and the YouTube series “Turtleman’s Hunt for Bigfoot” will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans.

"He's a fun crazy guy, you got to come check him out," said Shannon Vinson, event organizer. 

In addition, there will be Bigfoot themed contests such as Bigfoot Call, Hairiest Bigfoot, Biggest Foot, and Cutest Little Bigfoot (0-8), live music, gem mining, over 40 craft and flea market booths, food vendors, petting zoo, and pony rides  Plus, an appearance by the Shenandoah Squatch.

Attendees will also enjoy specials (10% off) at every shop, including Buckeye Trading Post, Apalchen Trade Co. and Vinson’s Rock Shop.

The contests start at 1:00 at the Truck Stage. Winners will receive trophies and prizes.

Admission is free for all.

Parking is $3. Each vehicle will receive one entry for three big giveaways:

  • 53” Concrete Bigfoot
  • Obsidian Carved Bigfoot
  • Rock-Engraved Bigfoot
