(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Central Elementary School student is stepping up to support her teacher.

Brylee Haring is a student in Maggie Cole’s fifth grade class, but Mrs. Cole has not been able to start the school year with her students due to a recent leukemia diagnosis.

Haring first showed support for her teacher by creating a collage of inspiring messages and a LEGO flower bouquet.

She has furthered her support for Mrs. Cole but creating and selling bracelets for $5 each with proceeds going towards Mrs. Cole’s battle with leukemia.

“When Bry learned that this school year might start a little different than she expected she jumped into action and asked how she could help and support her teacher,” said her father, Noah.

Noah Haring, a realtor with Lohmiller Real Estate, says he will match all the proceeds made by his daughter to further support Mrs. Cole.
