City of Aurora Appoints New City Council Member

(Aurora, Ind.) – The City of Aurora has appointed a new City Council member.

Kyle Runge was recently appointed to represent District 4. He will serve the remaining term of Fred Lester, who passed away in December.

Runge is a CPA working as the Assistant Controller for Answers in Genesis in Petersburg, Kentucky. He also serves as the Chairman of the business board at Community Fellowship Church in Lawrenceburg.

“We are excited to have Kyle on our team,” said City Manager Derek Walker. “He is invested in the community and wants to make the city a better place for him and his family.”

Runge, a western Pennsylvania native, now resides in Aurora with his wife, Amanda, and their three daughters.
