(Jefferson County, Ind.) – A Cleves man and four others have been charged with the murder of a Georgetown, Kentucky man.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police began investigating the incident in the early morning hours of June 22, when a 911 call came in alleging shots had been fired at a home in Dupont.
According to a probable cause affidavit, five individuals believed to be involved in criminal gang activity went to the property in Dupont with the intent to beat up a man and take his personal property.
The five individuals were armed with multiple weapons when they entered the property, and shots were exchanged.
Dustin Lindner, 35, was struck and killed in the shootout.
Earlier this week, David Faulkner, 42, of Cleves, was arrested by Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies on a murder warrant out of Indiana.
Four others have also been arrested in connection to the murder. Their charges are listed below.
