DCH Federal Credit Union Sends $1,500 To Scholarship Fund

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Hospital Federal Credit Union (DCHFCU) is celebrating another very successful year of serving the region.  To show its appreciation to its members and the community for their support, the DCHFCU made a generous donation of $1,500 to the Dearborn County Hospital Foundation Scholarship Program. Katee Goodpaster, Chief Executive Officer of the DCH Federal Credit Union, presented the check to Michael W. Schwebler, President/CEO of Dearborn County Hospital, who accepted the contribution on behalf of the DCH Foundation. “Since the Dearborn County Hospital Federal Credit Union’s founding in 1962, we have worked diligently to serve the needs of our members and to be supportive of our community,” noted Mrs. Goodpaster.  “We are now in our third year of working with the DCH Foundation to award scholarships to area students.  This year we were pleased to be able to increase our donation by $500, for a total 2016 contribution of $1,500.” DCHFCU services include automobile, personal and student loans; home mortgages and home equity loans; Christmas Club and Vacation Club accounts; savings and checking accounts; IRAs; CDs; debit cards; ATM service; bill pay services and online home and mobile banking.  Deposits are guaranteed up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). All DCH employees, Medical Staff members, Auxilians and Board of Trustees members, along with individuals from an additional 26 entities in the area and their immediate families, are automatically eligible to join the DCH Federal Credit Union.  The general public may qualify for membership in the Credit Union by making a donation to the Dearborn County Hospital Foundation.
