Dearborn Co. Coroner Confirms First COVID-19 Death In The County

The 83-year-old man passed away on Thursday.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Coroner has confirmed the county's first Coronavirus-related death. 

Steve Callahan tells Eagle Country 99.3 that an 83-year-old man passed away Thursday. 

The man was said to have several underlying medical conditions, which can lead to severe cases of COVID-19. 

Indiana currently has 645 positive cases of COVID-19. Seventeen Hoosiers have died from the virus. 

Hoosiers are reminded to continue to practice social distancing, washing your hands frequently and stay at home if you are sick.
