Dearborn Co. Democratic Party Schedules Caucus To Fill Greendale Clerk Treasurer Vacancy

Current Clerk Treasurer Mary "Jo" Lynch is retiring in December.

(Greendale, Ind.) – The City of Greendale will soon need a new Clerk Treasurer.

Mary “Jo” Lynch recently gave notice to the County party, Mayor Alan Weiss, and Council her intentions to retire, effective December 10.

Lynch has served as Clerk Treasurer for 22 years and is ready to move on to the next chapter of her life.

The Dearborn County Democratic Party will hold a caucus to fill the vacancy. The caucus will be held on Friday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. at First Financial Bank in Aurora.

Anyone interested in filling the vacancy will need to fill out a CEB-5 and return to the party chair, Dylan Liddle, at least 10 days prior to the caucus.

Interested parties will then be put in front of the Greendale precinct chairs to answer questions before the caucus comes to a vote.
