Dearborn Co. Democrats To Hold Fall Dinner Oct. 22

The event will feature guest speakers, and donations to the Community Project.

(Greendale, Ind.) – Dearborn County Democrats will host their Fall Dinner on Friday, October 22 at the Greendale Cabin.

The event will start at 6:30 p.m. and will feature the following guest speakers:

  • Jennifer McCormick, former Superintendent of Public Instruction
  • Senate Primary Candidate Haneefah Khaaliq
  • Congressional Primary Candidate Matt Fyfe
  • Special virtual presentation from former Congressman Lee Hamilton

Cost to attend is $15 per person or $25 per couple.

Dearborn County Democrats will also be accepting donations for “The Community Project” at the dinner.

Local volunteers have come together to create a new non-profit organization to identify and bring awareness to the current and ongoing needs of residents in southeastern Indiana.

The organization plans to focus on several initiatives including the Feeding Those in Need Thanksgiving Event, Christmas with Friends, and Community Blessing Boxes.

Donation items that will be accepted at the Fall Dinner include blankets, hand warmers, hats and gloves, baby wipes, and personal care items.
