(Dearborn County, IN) - Dearborn County is currently experiencing flooding from the Ohio River. The river is predicted to crest 60 feet on Monday. This will cause numerous roadways to close. This list contains the roadways we anticipate being closed.

SR 56 in downtown Aurora and between Aurora and Ohio County

SR 350 at the bridge in Aurora

Cross Rd Park Ave at Goose Run

Decatur St Fourth and Water St Lower Dillsboro Rd near Store N Lock

Moore St near Manchester St

U.S. 50 at the railroad underpass

East Laughery in multiple spots

George St and Gazebo Junction

Old St Rd 350 at the bottom of Wilmington Hill

Main St at Aurora Tire Storage building

Judiciary St

Cole Ln.

US 50 at Oberting Rd.

State Route 56 is closed at 5th St in Aurora

If you do come across a flooded roadway that is not closed, you are encouraged to report it to authorities at (812) 537-3431. As always you are reminded to “Turn Around Don’t Drown” when you are driving and encounter a flooded roadway.
