East Central Middle School Principal Wins District Award

He will be recognized at an awards ceremony in November.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - Matt Maple has been named the 2022 IASP District 10 Middle School Principal of the Year.

District 10 is made up of Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Franklin, Hancock, Jennings, Ripley, Rush, Shelby and Union counties.

The Indiana Association of School Principals will recognize Maple on Sunday, November 20 at the annual Principals of the Year Recognition Celebration.

Maple serves as principal at East Central Middle School. 

He is one of 12 District Elementary Principal winners, elected by their peers. One of the 12 will be chosen as the 2022 State Middle School Principal of the Year, which will be announced at the award celebration in November.

The award celebration will be held at the Indianapolis JW Marriott Hotel at 6:00 p.m.
