(Ripley County, Ind.) - Get ready to ignite your entrepreneurial spirit at the Emerge: Young Innovators Summit! Organized by Genesis: Pathways to Success, this dynamic event is designed to empower high school students with essential business skills and knowledge. It will take place on October 16, 2024, at Ivy Tech Community College’s Lawrenceburg Riverfront Campus.

The Emerge: Young Innovators Summit will provide a platform for students to connect with industry leaders, engage in breakout sessions, and collaborate on business ideas with their peers. The summit will feature interactive sessions covering a wide range of essential topics, including finance, marketing, legal insights, creativity, leadership, and professional communication etiquette. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in discussions with prominent entrepreneurs from various regions and industries, gaining insights from their success stories.

To further enhance their professional development, students can have a headshot taken and learn the value of a LinkedIn account, including how to create and optimize one for networking and career opportunities. Emerge aims to equip the next generation of businessmen and women with the tools and resources they need to turn their ideas into reality.

Keynote Speaker, Chase Slepak, the Chairman and President of Slepak Family Companies, will be in attendance. He is an active angel investor in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and is a respected advisor and coach to many founders. In addition to the valuable experience for students, Emerge provides a $250 stipend for educators who attend, a $500 stipend dedicated to classroom enhancement, as well as Professional Growth Plan Points. Alongside their students, this summit is a unique opportunity for educators to gain new insights and resources for their classrooms.
