Friendship Firefighters Honored with Service Awards

(Friendship, Ind.) – Local first responders were recently recognized for their selflessness.

The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department held their annual Firemen’s Banquet on January 13.

This year, five firefighters were recognized with Service Awards:

  • John Stegemoller – 35 years
  • Gary Thomas – 35 years
  • Matt Jeffries – 35 years
  • Mark Jeffries – 35 years
  • Andrew Sieverding – 15 years

“Thank you for your commitment and service to Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, the communities, and the people we serve,” reads a statement from Friendship Volunteer Fire Department.
