Greendale Clean-Up Event Scheduled for Saturday

Free dumpsters will be available to use at the City Garage.

(Greendale, Ind.) - It is time for spring cleaning in Greendale. 

The City of Greendale and Greendale Main Street will host a clean-up event on Saturday, April 29. 

Free dumpsters will be available at the City Garage on Rand Street from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Items that will not be accepted include any oils, Freon, liquids, batteries, tires, and paint. 

A Swap and Sale will take place at the Greendale Cabin parking lot from 8:00 a.m. to noon. City residents may reserve a spot by messaging Greendale Main Street on Facebook with your name, email address, and home address. Participants are asked to bring their own tables and pop-up tents. 

Kona Ice will be on hand during the event, and Pure International Miss Jr. Teen Kensington Harrington will be selling baked goods for her international competition fees and Kensington's Krusade. 

The Greendale clean-up event will take place rain or shine.
