(Dearborn County, Ind.) - State Road 1 in Dearborn County reopened last month after a slide repair project, but road crews are still making some safety improvements to the road.

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Thursday that guardrail repair and replacement will be performed on S.R. 1 from Interstate 74 to Greendale over the next three weeks. The work will require daytime lane closures Monday through Friday.

Motorists should expect to encounter stopped or slowed traffic.
