Important Dates To Remember For Dearborn Co. Voters

As always, we here at Eagle Country will keep you up to date all election day long on our Indiana Voters page.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – With the 2020 General Election right around the corner, there are some important dates to add to your calendar leading up to November 3.

Those who have not yet registered to vote and would like to make their voice heard in the 2020 election, have until Sunday, October 5 to register. You may register to vote or check your registration status at indianavoters.org.

Absentee Ballot Information

Any voter who has submitted their application for an absentee ballot will begin to see ballots in their mailboxes Saturday, September 19.

For those wanting to request an absentee ballot, can do so through the county clerk’s office or online at indianavoters.org. Applications for absentee voting must be in-house at the county clerk’s office by October 22.

The State of Indiana GOP has sent out applications to vote by mail and they have been hitting mailboxes, all Dearborn County residents who have returned their application to the county may disregard the ones sent out by the GOP.

In-person Voting Information

Early voting will begin on Tuesday, October 6, and run through Monday, November 2 at noon. Locations and times for early voting will be released at a later date.

Anyone who would like to take advantage of early voting may do so, there does not need to be a reason to cast a vote early.
