Juvenile Who Attends IGNITE Institute Charged with Terroristic Threatening

Boone County Sheriff's deputies say a threat was made on Saturday.

(Boone County, Ky.) – A juvenile has been charged after allegedly making threats towards a high school in Erlanger.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies were made aware of the threats made by a student who attends IGNITE Institute on Saturday around 4:15 p.m.

Deputies promptly responded to the report and conducted a thorough investigation, which led to them charging a juvenile offender with Terroristic Threatening 2nd Degree.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, there are no other known threats or imminent danger to students or staff who attend IGNITE Institute.

No further details were provided.
