Kentucky State Police Investigating Fatal Accident on I-71 in Carroll County

(Carroll County, Ky.) – One person sustained fatal injuries in a single vehicle accident in Carroll County early Tuesday morning.

According to Kentucky State Police, the accident occurred on Interstate 71 near the 44 mile marker around 12:04 a.m.

The preliminary investigation indicates that William Davis, of Pleasureville, was traveling south, when for an unknown reason, he lost control of his vehicle.

Davis’ vehicle would exit the roadway, striking a guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
