UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Investigating Officer Involved Shooting in Carroll County

The Carroll County Sherriff's Office has released information identifying the subject involved in the officer-involved shooting in Worthville on Sunday night as Justin Osborn, a 40-year-old caucasian male.  Mr. Osborn is believed to have ties to the Worthville(Carroll County) and Glasgow(Barren County) areas.

At this time Justin Osborn's whereabouts remain unknown.  Local and state law enforcement continue to attempt to locate him.  If anyone has any information that could assist in locating Osborn contact your local law enforcement agency or the Kentucky State Police. Mr. Osborn is considered armed and may be dangerous, the public should not attempt to approach him.

(Carroll County, Ky.) – Kentucky State Police are investigation an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Worthville on Sunday night.

The incident occurred near a residence on Happy Hollow Lane.

At this time, there are no known injuries reported as a result of this shooting.

KSP has statewide jurisdiction and investigates officer-involved shootings throughout the Commonwealth as requested by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

It is KSP’s standard operating procedure not to release specific details until vital witnesses have been interviewed and pertinent facts gathered.
