Lawrenceburg Offering Utility Assistance; ARP Small Business Grants This Holiday Season

The assistance is funded through the American Rescue Plan.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The City of Lawrenceburg is getting a head start on the giving season.

Mayor Kelly Mollaun announced Friday that the City of Lawrenceburg will provide one month of residential utilities at no cost for any existing residential customer currently receiving a Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities bill for water, sewer and electric.

Existing customers shall have their December 2021 utility bill reflect a zero balance for current charges. Utility forgiveness does not apply to balance forward utility charges noted on utility bill.

The Utility Assistance Program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act.

Residents who have an existing rental agreement that includes LMU utilities should consult their landlord for any rental fee agreement changes.
