Several items that showcase Lawrenceburg PD's rich history is on display at the museum.
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Lawrenceburg Police Department has been named the Department of the Month by the Greater Cincinnati Police Museum.
“The Greater Cincinnati Police Museum represents police agencies in the entire eight county area known as Greater Cincinnati," said Sgt. William T. Beuke (Ret.). "With the number of agencies we represent, we thought it appropriate to recognize them, one at a time. Therefore, we proclaim for the month of September 2022 the Lawrenceburg Police Department as the Department of the Month.”
Several items that showcase Lawrenceburg Police's rich history are on special display at the Greater Cincinnati Police Museum. The museum also includes the Line of Duty Death Memorial, representing 208 officers killed in the line of duty within the Greater Cincinnati area. Fallen officers of the Lawrenceburg Police Department who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty include:
- Marion F Cunningham
- Charles A. Liddle
- Sylvester Blair
- James C. Ratliff
- Thomas L. Cochran
