LHS Grad Sworn in as New Police Officer

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A new Lawrenceburg Police officer was sworn in today at City Hall.

Mayor Kelly Mollaun had the honor of swearing in Dylan Jones

The 2019 graduate of Lawrenceburg High School got his start in law enforcement at the age of 20 when he began working as a corrections officer at the Dearborn County Jail.  

Jones later transitioned to a school resource officer with Lawrenceburg Schools from 2023 to 2024.
