Lt. Gov. Skillman To View Holton Tornado Damage

(Holton, Ind.) - Indiana Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman will stop in Holton Tuesday.

 

An EF3 tornado with 140 MPH winds struck the town March 2, claiming two lives and causing about $6 million in damage.

 

Skillman will tour the destruction left behind. The lieutenant governor is scheduled to arrive at approximately 9:40 a.m. and meet with Homeland Security to get a look at the ongoing recovery.

 

Skillman will depart Holton and arrive in Sellersburg at about 1:00 p.m. to view tornado damage there by ground and by air.
