Man Arrested For Threats Toward N. Ky. Schools

(Florence, Ky.) - A 19-year-old is accused of making threats against schools in northern Kentucky.

Florence Police arrested Billy Jones, Jr., of Independence, on Monday morning at an apartment on Alan Court.

The threats he's accused of making were not against a specific school, but schools in the area.

Police say they found a stolen handgun during a search of the place where Jones was staying.

He is now in the Kenton County Jail charged with terroristic threatening and receiving stolen property-firearm.
