The State Championship took place Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS – Two robotics teams from Manchester Elementary School have qualified for the World Championship.
For the second year in a row, Manchester Elementary was represented at the Indiana State Robotics Tournament.
Teams
- 42403A – Piper Cole, Jozlyn Damico, Charleigh Fox, Gabby Hehman, Jade Miller, and Teagan Pfaffl
- 42403 B – Wyatt Burke, Gabe Cole, Brody Doller, Chase Hamlett, Wyatt Heeman, and Grayson Merida
In the skills portion of the competition, Team A finished 22nd with a total score of 166, and Team B placed 12th with a total score of 198.
The two teams placed 25th and 15th, respectively, in the teamwork challenge, which was good enough to advance to the final round.
In the final round each team was paired up with another team to do one final drive. Team A scored 182 with their alliance team, placing 6th overall. Team B finished in 5th place with a score of 187.
Both teams placed high enough to qualify for the Robotics World Championship Tournament in Dallas, Texas.
Team A left the State Championship with the 6th Place Teamwork Award, while Team B received the 5th Place Teamwork Award and the 12th Place Skills Award.
