Miller York Fire Responds to Early Morning Water Rescue

Motorists are reminded to never cross high or swift moving water.

(Guilford, Ind.) – Firefighters received an early wakeup call on Friday for a water rescue.

Miller York Fire was called to a vehicle in the water in West Tanners Creek at Shale Road around 12:58 a.m.

All occupants of the vehicle received medical attention from Lawrenceburg EMS.

The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office and Manchester Fire assisted at the scene.

Motorists are reminded to never cross high or swift moving water as it could cause serious injury or death.
