My Brother's Keeper Has A Catchy Safe Auto Jingle; 2nd In Contest

By Katlyn Reece (St. Leon, Ind.) - A local band is close to winning the Safe Auto "Do the Jingle" Contest. My Brother's Keeper is a bluegrass and folk band from Saint Leon. Titus Luckhaupt plays the mandolin. Benjamin Luckhaupt plays the guitar, penny whistle, and ukulele. Joshua Luckhaupt plays the fiddle, banjo, piano, accordion, harmonica, and cello. Wyatt Murray plays the upright bass. All of the band member sing with Titus on lead. The group teamed up with independent artist Brittany Gillstrap for the Safe Auto jingle competition. The group's submission is listed as Brittany and the Brothers. There have been more than 140 entries in Safe Auto's contest. As of Thursday, Brittany and the Brothers have more than 280,000 votes and are second in the standings. "We never expected this kind of a response," said Benjamin Luckhaupt. "It's really awesome." The wining act will receive $5,000 and a chance to appear in a future advertising campaign.
