New Speed Limit on Parkside Avenue

City Council recently approved the change.

(Greendale, Ind.) – Motorists are being advised of a new reduced speed limit on Parkside Avenue in Greendale.

City Council recently approved the new speed limit of 25 miles per hour, down from 30 miles per hour.

The decision was made in the best interest of public safety for area residents and pedestrians.

In addition, Greendale Police are urging travelers to pay close attention at the Ridge Avenue and Brown Street intersection. The city has removed the traffic light in accordance with traffic study requirements.

Illuminated stops signs are in place to require drivers to stop at the intersection.
