President, State Office Primaries In Ohio Tuesday

(Hamilton County, Oh.) - It’s primary election day in Ohio, one of ten states with a primary election on Super Tuesday.

Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul have been campaigning in the state for the past week-and-a-half as they seek the Republican Party nomination for president. However, Ohio voters have local issues to decide as well.

Folks in the western part of Hamilton County are voting for one of two Republican candidates for State Representative District 29.

Louis Blessing and Raj Rajagopal are both seeking the party nomination for District 29 State Representative. The winner will face lone Democrat Hubert E. Brown in November.

Republican First District Congressman Steve Chabot is unopposed in Tuesday’s primary. He could face one of two Democrats in November – Malcolm Kantzler or Jeff Sinnard.

Libertarians Jim Berns and Queen Noble, as well as Green Party candidate Rich Stevenson, are also running in the First District.

Polling locations across the state are open until 7:30 p.m.
