— Jeff Ruby (@TheRealJeffRuby) August 5, 2014 (Hebron, Ky.) – While many people who get into the restaurant industry end up sunk, Jeff Ruby isn’t one of them. Unless the sinking happens in a literal sense. Ruby’s floating Waterfront Restaurant has been shut down since 2011 when it broke loose from its moorings on the Ohio River in Cincinnati. A number of people were aboard and had to be rescued when the barge struck a bridge. Last February, the empty restaurant barge broke free again. The Waterfront was docked at C&B Marina in Boone County when it sunk either late Monday night or Tuesday morning. Nobody was on board. The barge remains partially submerged along the river bank. Ruby himself tweeted out a photo of the sinking barge about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
