Thirty-three area organizations will benefit from the generosity of Southeastern Indiana REMC's members.
(Osgood, Ind.) - Southeastern Indiana REMC customers cents are helping 33 local organizations.
REMC’s Operation Roundup allows customers to volunteer to round up their bills to the next whole dollar, with that extra few cents going to a grant program.
As the bills are paid by customers, non-profit 501(C) organizations submit grant applications to SEI REMC. The applications are reviewed by a board.
REMC recently awarded $61,907 in August 2018 roundup grants to 33 recipients.
