Slide Repair Project Scheduled On SR 252 Near Brookville

(Franklin County, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced an upcoming slide repair near Brookville.

The work will take place on a section of State Road 252 starting on or after Monday, January 25.

During the work, a 920-foot section of roadway will be closed approximately 0.6 miles east of Brookville, just west of Smith Road.

The closure is expected to be in place for 10 to 12 weeks, through mid-April, weather permitting.

The official detour will follow U.S. 52 to Interstate 74 to State Route 128 (Oh.) to State Route 126 (Oh.), back to State Road 252.

Access will be maintained for local residents.
