By Southwest Local School District, news release

As you prepare to get your Christmas shopping done, don't forget to give to those in need.

(Harrison, Oh.) - Again this year, the Southwest Local School District is proud to partner with the Harrison Mayor’s Fund, This City His City, Christ’s Loving Hands, and JTM Food Group to provide for those in need in our community this holiday season.

The annual Food and Clothing Drive will take place from December 3-7. Donations are being accepted at each SLSD building. The drive seeks to collect canned goods and other non-perishable food items for those less fortunate throughout the Southwest Local School District community. In addition, winter clothing items such as coats, hats, gloves, and scarves are also being accepted.

Items will be distributed on Saturday, December 15 from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Harrison High School Gymnasium. Families requesting assistance are required to pre-register by calling the Mayor’s Fund office at 367-2111.
