Street Closures Announced for 7th Annual Cruisin' to a Cure for ALS Car Show

The fundraising event happens Sunday in downtown Lawrenceburg.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Several streets will be closed in downtown Lawrenceburg this Sunday for the 7th annual Cruisin’ to a Cure for ALS car show.

The City of Lawrenceburg has announced the following closures:

Car Show Street Closures 6 AM – 6 PM

  • Walnut Street between Todd Lane to High St.
  • W. High St. to the Dearborn County Jail
  • E. High St. to the east side of Civic Park between Alley at Short St. & Elm St.
  • Vine St. from High St. to Alley between High St. & William St.
  • Mary St. between High St. & William St.

Parking Lot Closures 6 AM – 6 PM

  • Mural Lot on High St.
  • City Hall (Food Vendors Only)
  • Community Center and Todd Creech Park
  • Behind Public Library
  • Parking Lot across from Courthouse

There will be no parking along the car show route starting Sunday, May 7 at 4:00 a.m. Vehicles remaining on the car show route at 6:00 a.m. are subject to towing at personal expense.

All streets will reopen at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening.

Attendees not entering a vehicle in the show can find free parking access in the parking garage at E. High Street and Elm Street.

Cruisin' to a Cure for ALS day of registration will take place from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Cost is $20 per vehicle and entrants should use Walnut Street to pay and get parked.
