Switzerland County Travel Status Downgraded

Switz. Co. had moved into the orange.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) – According to Switzerland County Emergency Management, county commissioners have downgraded the travel status from Warning/Red to Watch/Orange.

This means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public and only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergencies, is recommended.

Switzerland County joins Dearborn, Franklin and Ripley counties at orange status.

Ohio County is Yellow, meaning that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
