Taylor HS Students Participate in Congressional Art Competition

Seven talented artists will have their work displayed until May.

(Cleves, Oh.) – Seven Taylor High School students have been recognized for their artistic ability.

As part of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition, “An Artistic Discovery,” the seven students will have their work prominently displayed at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum, Ancient Sculpture Museum (1763 Hamilton Cleves Road, Hamilton, OH 45013) beginning today, April 19.

The artists are August Bragg, Audrey Dailey, Justin Hughes, Emma Lyknins, Ries Dreyer, Shannon Linko, and Rachel Hutson.

Their art will remain on display until the beginning of May.

All pieces will be judged by a panel of local art authorities. The grand prize-winning artwork will represent the 8th District in Washington, D.C. by being displayed in the U.S. Capitol as part of a year-long exhibit.

The overall winner may also be eligible for an art school scholarship and airline tickets to attend the national reception in Washington.
