Teeth-Chattering Wind Chills Coming This Week

Wind chills could register as low as -30 Fahrenheit.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Eagle Country won’t escape the dangerous cold this week.

The high temperature on a rainy Monday will reach 48, but forecasters say the mercury will sink drastically by Tuesday night.

High temperatures in the single digits are in store for Wednesday, with overnight lows below zero. The wind chill will have temperatures feeling as cold as 30 below zero.

Wind chills that intense could cause frostbite on expose skin in as little as 30 minutes, meteorologists say.

A Wind Chill Watch is in effect from Tuesday night through Wednesday evening.
