Town of Dillsboro Launches 2024 Façade Improvement Matching Grant Program

Property owners can receive matching grants of up to $10,000 for eligible façade improvements.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) – The Town of Dillsboro has announced the launch of its 2024 Façade Improvement Matching Grant (FIMG) Program.

The program is aimed at supporting property owners in enhancing the visual appeal of their buildings.

Property owners within the Town of Dillsboro have the opportunity to receive matching grants of up to $10,000 for eligible façade improvements.

Grants can be used for a variety of exterior improvements, including:

  • Renovation and repair of building façades.
  • Replacement of key design elements such as doors, windows, and decorative details.
  • Masonry and structural repairs.
  • Signage and awning updates.
  • Roof repair or replacement visible from the street level.

Ineligible projects include interior improvements, parking lot enhancements, and new construction unrelated to historical preservation.

Interested property owners must submit a completed application by November 1, 2024. Applications must include detailed project plans, three contractor quotes, and an application fee of $25.

Applications should be sent to the Dillsboro Clerk Treasurer’s Office at 13030 Executive Drive, Dillsboro, IN 47018.

Grant recipients will be selected based on the project’s impact on the community, architectural significance, and overall quality of proposed work.

Due to limited funds, not all applications may be approved, and some may receive partial funding.
