Trilogy Foundation Subsidiary Donates $800+ To Safe Passage, Inc.

Press release from Safe Passage, Inc. (Batesville, Ind.) - October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. Are you aware? Every 9 seconds a woman is assaulted or beaten. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been victims of some form of physical violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime. These shocking statistics are what motivates Safe Passage to be committed to ending the serious and growing trend of violence in our communities. This year alone, Safe Passage has assisted over one thousand victims of domestic violence through confidential emergency housing, comprehensive case management, advocacy, counseling, and other direct services and care. Outreach programming provides education and training to law enforcement, professional, and community groups as well as community and school-based violence prevention programs throughout the six county regions of Ripley, Dearborn, Franklin, Jefferson, Switzerland, and Ohio counties. Since January of 2014, Trilogy Foundation has donated over $5,000 to Safe Passage through their Employee Giving Program, with their most recent contribution of $827.00. It is through partnerships like these that allow Safe Passage to aid those affected by violence. Safe Passage is grateful to businesses like St. Andrews for their continued support of Safe Passage’s work to create a safer, healthier community.
