The event will end at approximately 9:30pm.
TVCA host the Veteran Reflection events to help bridge the military/civilian divide in our community. It allows veterans a meaningful way to share their experiences and civilians a way to honor them, gain a better understanding of their experiences, and help reintegrate them back into the community.
Here are few statistics regarding the growing military/civilian divide:
- 99.5% of American adults have not served on active duty since 9/11
- Only 8% of American adults are veterans
- Less than 26% of civilians believe they have much in common with veterans
The fact is when you sit with us during an event it makes a statement. It means that our community is passionate about reducing this divide and honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
