By Mike Perleberg (Greendale, Ind.) - New charges have been filed against two new suspects in a June burglary from a Greendale hotel. The Riverside Inn and some of its guests were victimized June 25th when several flat screen TVs were taken from rooms and some guests had their rooms broken into. Joyce David, 33, of Lawrenceburg, was arrested and charged later that day. On October 2nd, two more people were charged with 18 counts of Theft, Burglary, Burglary of a Dwelling, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary of a Dwelling, and Conspiracy to Commit Theft for their involvement. They are Joshua S. Dyson, 24, and Brianna L. Kies, 21, both of Peebles, Ohio. Dyson faces and additional charge of False Informing (Class B misdemeanor). According to a court affidavit filed by investigators, a witness police spoke to said Dyson had been fired as an employee of the Riverside Inn, but still had a key. Dyson and Kies had allegedly driven David to the hotel to commit the thefts using the key to enter the hotel rooms and aided in her getaway. David has also been accused of stealing wine and chips from the Circle K convenience store in Greendale the same day. A store clerk had seen David leave the store in a green-colored vehicle believed to be Dyson’s. When questioned by police, Dyson allegedly provided officers a false birth date and false spelling of his last name. Dyson was booked into jail at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center on a warrant on October 21. Kies was booked in the next day. All three suspects remain held there as of Monday.
