Update published Monday, July 13 at 1:47 p.m.: The public opening of the Skyline Chili restaurant in St. Leon will have to wait, thanks to Mother Nature. Proprietor Dave Deddens says that the planned Wednesday, July 15 opening has been postponed. The entrance to the restaurant's parking lot off of State Road 1 has not been completed, and can't be finished until the soil dries up from recent rains. "If we get the entrance done Friday, (the opening) is going to be Saturday. They are going to start tomorrow now. If not, probably, hopefully next Monday," Deddens said Monday.
