Versailles State Trooper Promoted To Detective

(Versailles, Ind.) – An Indiana State Police Versailles Trooper has earned a promotion.

On Monday, Master Trooper Jason Duncan was promoted to detective.

Duncan has worked in the Versailles District patrolling Bartholemew County since 2012. Since graduating from the Indiana State Police Academy in 1996, Duncan has also bade stops in the Sellersburg and Seymour Districts, as well as serving in the Executive Protection Division for then Governor Mitch Daniels.

During his career, Det. Duncan has also served as a Field Training Officer, Tactical Intervention Platoon Team Member, Child Safety Seat Inspector and a Control Tactics Instructor.

Duncan will now be assigned to the Criminal Investigative Division out of the Versailles Post.
