(Batesville, Ind.) - With the crisp fall air creeping its way through, a perfect way to spend the day this weekend is at the 29th Annual Vogt’s Pumpkin Festival.

This annual fall festival’s last weekend is this Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 at Vogt’s Farm on State Road 129 in Batesville.

A wonderful place to bring the whole family!

An experience worth taking is the horse-drawn trolley where you can make memories by taking a ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkins. Enjoy homemade pumpkin deserts, and food, along with crafts, corn maze, kids play area, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more!

If you need a fright, recently added is the Mayhem in The Maze also at Vogt’s Farm. This will be held Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26.

Don’t worry if you miss out on these Spooktacular events, they also have two other festivals held annually. The Hanging Basket Festival on Mother's Day weekend in May, the Blueberry Festival in late June/early July. Be sure to check out the Greenhouse during Spring for vegetable plants and flowers as well.

The Pumpkin Festival will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the maze will be open Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Admission is free for the festival. Tickets for the maze are $12 per person. Parking is free for both events. Only cash and checks are accepted.
